RELATIONSHIP FREE - LIFE COACHING AGREEMENT
This agreement constitutes a contract between us. You should read it carefully and raise any questions or concerns before you agree to it and book a session with Relationship Free.
The services provided are coaching or tele-coaching as provided with you, as client. In our Life Coaching sessions, we will jointly agree upon topics you wish to work, and goals you wish to set up for yourself. While Life Coaching is generally beneficial, there are no guarantees of how you will experience it. It is important that you openly discuss any dissatisfaction or concerns as they arise so we can make the necessary adjustments in meeting your goals.
The focus of coaching is development and implementation of strategies to reach client-identified goals of enhanced performance and personal satisfaction. Coaching may address relationship issues as well as specific personal projects, life balance, job performance and satisfaction, or general conditions in the client’s life.
Life coaching does not diagnose or treat mental and nervous disorders. At this stage, Life Coaching is not reimbursable through health insurance policies, but it fast becoming one of the most popular forms of therapy.
Relationship Free prides itself on operating with clients as fairly as we can in all situations. We also maintain a strict code of ethics at an exceptionally high standard to ensure you get the most out of your session in a comfortable and secure environment.
APPOINTMENTS, HOURS AND LOCATION
Individual sessions are approximately 45-60 minutes, and can be scheduled by making an appointment online or contacting me directly via email at sarah@relationshipfree.com. Sessions can be conducted on the telephone, via Skype and in some cases, at a mutually agreed location.
Sessions will not be confirmed until payment is received. Money transfer and confirmation must occur at least 24 hours before the proposed session time. It is the client's responsibility to initiate a tele-coaching or Skype session on time. If a client does not attend the call within 20 minutes of the start of the session, the appointment is cancelled and the cancellation policy applies for a cancellation within 48-hours.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel or reschedule the session, please give at least 48 hours notice. We will reschedule to a mutually acceptable time. Emergencies will be dealt with as they arise. Forgetting or missing an appointment or call is not an emergency. Missed appointments or non-emergency cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the normal rate.
Relationship Free reserves the right to cancel a coaching session at any time and where possible will give at least 24 hours notice. Where a session is cancelled mid-session due to necessity or referral, Relationship Free may offer a partial refund.
REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY
Relationship Free life coaching support registration is refundable, subject to a $25 administration fee. In the event a client who has booked a package ceases coaching before the end of the cycle, the client will receive a pro rated refund. The administration fee and any other administration fees for the transfer will also apply.
We understand technology doesn't always work the way we want it to. In the event a session is cancelled due to technological difficulties, an email notification must be received within 20 minutes of the call. The client will have the following options:
1. Reschedule with a full credit
2. Receive a partial refund (a $25 administration fee applies)
If email notification is not received, the cancellation policy applies for a client cancelling within 24 hours.
EMERGENCY ACCESS and TELEPHONE CALLS
Lengthy telephone calls will be subject to regular session consultations and may be pro-rated and billed at my standard hourly rate for professional service. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call emergency or go to a hospital emergency room.
CONFIDENTIALITY
I recognise that anything the client shares with me is regarded as confidential, whether it is business or personal information. Relationship Free undertakes not to, at any time, either directly or indirectly use or disclose any information the client shares with me in a session.
I will be maintaining a client record on your case, which is the property of Relationship Free. In specific situations, Relationship Free may be required to disclose information without your consent or authorization to authorities. This includes, but is not limited to, situations in which a client appears to be at risk to himself or others, if abuse or neglect is suspected, and if the court orders or subpoenas Relationship Free to disclose information. These situations are quite unusual in coaching situations, and if it does arise Relationship Free will make every effort to discuss it with you prior to taking the protective action. Unless otherwise indicated by a court order, if the client is a minor, both parents have the right to access of the minor’s records. If a client files a complaint or lawsuit against Relationship Free, the records will be shared openly.
It is impossible to protect the confidentiality of information that is transmitted electronically. This is particularly true of e-mail and information stored on computers.
FINANCIAL TERM
Fees for coaching telephone sessions are to be made through PayPal prior to each session. Face to face sessions may either be paid through PayPal in advance or in person at the time of the session. In either case, a receipt will be provided for your records.
Relationship Free reserves the right to collect any unpaid balance and may use a collection agency or take legal action to secure payment, as authorized by state or federal law, and the collections action will become a part of your credit record.
Package sessions expire within the specified period - this means the one month package expires one month from purchase date, three month package expires three months from purchase date and six month package expires six month from purchase date. All sessions must be booked and held before the expiry date. There are no refunds offered for expired sessions.
Prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.
COACHING
The client is aware that coaching is in no way to be construed as psychological counseling or any type of therapy. Coaching results are not guaranteed. The client enters into the coaching with the full understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.
Honesty is essential during the sessions in order for clients to maximise their coaching experience. Positive feelings may be a natural result of a session, but the primary focus is on creating actionable strategies for achieving specific goals in one’s work or personal life.
Where a client requires emergency mental health assistance or assistance outside of my skillset, coaching sessions will be ceased immediately and Relationship Free will provide a referral where possible.
Coaching sessions are currently available via Skype or telephone only. Please ensure you have access to these options before booking.
